Shamanic Apprenticeship Program

Michele Lessirard announces a two year training program in core shamanism* and energy healing in Florida. This is a comprehensive experiential program for those called to the path. During these trainings you'll be deepening your connection to nature, involved in energy work, shamanic practices of soul retrieval and extraction healing, psycho pomp, curse breaking together with working with karmic and ancestral imprints.

The goal is to develop core shamanic skills so you can to step fully into your healership in service to your family and community.

This is a journey to the spiritual dimension of nature to seek knowledge for healing, empowerment and community building. Students develop their own unique path called your “original medicine” rather than copying any specific culture.

Graduates of this advanced shamanic training will be listed as shamanic practitioners with your contact information listed in a special section on the Shared Journey's Website site. You will be issued a certificate of completion at the end of the 15 month program.

Please note this training is not appropriate for those looking for personal healing.

Commitment

15 month commitment with seven (7) weekend trainings and one (1) five-day Soul Retrieval training starting in September 11, 2009 through November 2010. Exact dates to be determined.

Each session builds on work offered from previous session; sessions are 2.5 days in length, starting Friday afternoon ending Sunday mid-afternoon. Soul Retrieval training starts Starts Sunday afternoon through Thursday mid-afternoon.

Location: Central Florida, drive or fly to Orlando, FL. The Canterbury Retreat Center is located in Oviedo, Florida, 30 minutes from the Orlando International Airport [MCO].

Registration: Applications will be accepted starting April 15, 2009. Print out this pdf for application and registration.

Prerequisite: Basic Shamanic Journeying Workshop. Completion of Meeting with Spirit Session with Michele Lessirard; or an equivalent course of individual study with the Instructor. Basic workshops are offered by:

• Michael Harner's Foundation for Shamanic Studies
• Sandra Ingerman’s Shamanic Teachers Alliance

Applicants must have a working knowledge of the shamanic journey and be able to journey successfully to the Upper and Lower worlds. A strong connection to your Teachers and Power Animals is a must.

Application: Each person who wishes to participate in this program begins by completing an Application and a Commitment Agreement together with a two page letter which details their personal reasons for wishing to pursue advanced shamanic work. Click here for form.

This letter should include where and with whom the applicant has learned shamanic journeying. To apply, download an application packet. Complete and sign both forms and mail with application fee. Michele will review your application and contact you to arrange a personal interview. Applications will be available for download on April 9th.

Class size is limited to 35 students, with a minimum of 15 students are needed to cover facility requirements. If the session is not sufficiently filled, these are your options:

• You may cancel and receive a full refund.
• The apprenticeship will begin the series on the second date listed to allow time for additional students to sign up.
• If the apprenticeship program is full, you can ask to be placed on a waiting list.
