Being stalked at this new moon

At this new moon in Sagittarius on December 9th, 2007 a stellium of planets [Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter and Pluto]¹ are stalking my first and second houses [this is me and this is what I am worth, self-worth]. Can I share it is not a good time to aggravate me, yet that is apparently what the Universe has in store. Oh my.

In the news there are stories of people losing their tempers in a flash and saying something they regret. Imus on steroids. One shamanic friend set some much needed boundaries in her community, she blew her fuse and at the exact same moment the power went out in her neighborhood. Good news- there was a healing. Like her I am finding it increasing difficult to hold back and not mince my words. Here is my New Moon SoulCollage® for Sagittarius:

Jupiter’s Shadow
I am the One who Consumes
Buy this and that
fill up with this and that.
Spend too much,
Eat too much.
All because I feel

Saturn in Sagittarius Looking for your truth in all the wrong places

Saturn moved through Sag from January 1956 through January 1959 and November 1985 through February 1988

Pluto has been in the sign Sagittarius since 1995 and leaves to move into the sign Capricorn next month. Pluto transforms us from within, the Cosmic garbage collector, rules death and rebirth. As an agent of transformation he doesn’t just go away. Pluto is our collective get out of Hell ticket so we can share our story through transformation. Pluto is the change agent for our rigid black and white thinking; our shadow issues, those things we want to hide. Pluto is the task master over the crap of our shame represented by the seven deadly sins- pride, wrath, greed, envy, lust, gluttony, sloth. The offenses against Love.

Providence rules at this New Moon in Sag

I am browsing in the bookstore when I notice a very scruffy man sharing space in the same row of books. The voice in my head is saying ‘don’t talk to strangers’. Even so I cautiously find myself engaging in a conversation with him as he blurts out whatever he seems to be thinking about our surroundings, and during our brief interchange I find myself saying to him- “oh that is so lucky.”

He replies with authority “No that’s not luck, it’s Providence!” A chill moves through me as an ultimate truth is spoken. Providence. Luck is when I have no connection to Spirit. Providence means my angels have intervened- it is a divine intervention, a partnership acknowledged. Jupiter is said to rule issues of fate, good fortune, luck and providence. With Jupiter’s energy we want to expand into something, push out beyond our comfort zones.

There is a New Moon in Sagittarius on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 9:01 am est. Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, is all about risk taking. At this lunation you may be called to stretch, risk or die.

The Jupiter Collages- a reminder

Miracles– The Aramaic word for miracles, nes, also means to “run away.” When we “run away” from the Desire to Receive for the Self Alone- the selfish longings of our ego– miracles happen. In other words, we must affect the miracle within nature in order to ignite miracles around us. Your ability to transform from a place of reactivity to one of sharing will determine the amount of miracles that you’ll witness in this month of Sagittarius.-from the book Kabbalistic Astrology

Challenge for Jupiter in Sagittarius-get a mini reading

Last week Jupiter entered Sagittarius on November 23, 2006. Jupiter is the archetype of the Teacher within all of us that knows how to take our blessed wound and make magic from it.

Now I have a challenge for you! I want you to make a collage representing this Jupiter energy and what it means for you. Make a SoulCollage® card, or make a collage to honor this time in your life. Don’t make the process too complicated…all you need are some magazines, a glue stick, scissors and paper. Cut out and glue images that call to you- images that represent what Jupiter’s energy stands for at this time in your life. I recommend that you make your collage no larger than 8.5 x 11 so you can scan it and email it too me. I invite you to journal about your collage.

Fiery Jupiter asks you to take a risk. Jupiter represents truth and wisdom. With Jupiter’s energy we are collectively called to expand, venture out beyond our comfort zone. To travel beyond our borders, to learn something new. To connect with, embody the God of our understanding through our own inner knowing [versus what we are told about God]. Jupiter just entered the sign Sagittarius last week. His home town. Jupiter rules Sagittarius. It takes Jupiter 12 years to complete a cycle in one's birth chart. Last week I had a profound dream about Jupiter’s cycle in my life. Those times I took the risk and expanded have lead me down some wonderful roads. I thought I’d share the dates the last time Jupiter was in Sagittarius:

• February 1971-1972
• January 1983-1984
• January 1995-1996
• Now-December 2006-2007

What was happening for you in those years? You may have aha’s and/or you may be screaming ‘aaarrggh’. You may find yourself revisiting issues, people or places and taking the experience [wisdom] to a new level of understanding.

Jupiter traveled through Scorpio last year, meaning that in order to expand into something we had to be willing to let go of the old ways. Clean house. A year of stopping and starting- digging into heavy emotions, deep water. Jupiter's energy in Sagittarius works to help us expand into new territory- personally and professionally. Where is Jupiter in your chart? What doorway does Sagittarius sit…that’s where the action is? Keep in mind you don’t have to know astrology to honor Jupiter’s energy in your life. "We’d have a great relationship if it weren’t for you!" This from a book I read back in the 90’s on marriage and partnership. Aries is about self and Libra is how we relate to others, how we partner. Aries can be boorish and selfish when only vested in the ‘me’ energy. It’s the Full Moon at 14 degrees of Aries on Friday, October 6th, 2006 at 11:13 pm. And the boors are out and about. Full moon energy relates to your soul energy, the Greater Story you share with others that is healing and life affirming. You planted some intentions last spring and they are now manifesting- the good, the bad, the ugly.
